hi,
does jmdcms support the content pages being of a different layout as compared to the home (index) page?
if so, how can i do this?

i want to create a site where the home page is different from the content pages.
thanks

I have created some sample layout for you here:

http://femig.jmdcms.com

In JMDCMS release 3.0.0.10 which will be by the end of this weekend, you will be able to specify the CSS file name by page and also you will be able to specify the CSS class by module.

This way you can make any page look completely different.

thanks,
this was very helpful..
could you kindly send me the aspx file for this page?
i need to understand how you create the left ,right and middle modules..i looked at the installation and i diddnt understand it...
where can i change the look and feel of the usercontrols?

i think we need a comprehensive tutorial on how to create templates using JMDCMS..I think the cms IS good but needs more documentation..even if it is step by step...

thanks

femig,

there are no physical .aspx pages. All the pages are rendered dynamically. Layout, Look and feel is driven by CSS.

I am sending you username and password via email to log on to your demo site and play:)
