Release Notes

Search engines increment the external links count from a website for each link which is pointing to an external domain.

Example: Google will be counted as external link by search engines like google, yahoo, msn and more....

Search engines use highly complex algorithms to determine the ranking of websites. One of the criteria's that influence the page rank of a website may be based on incoming links and outgoing links. Less outgoing links , more incoming links may help in achieving better page rank with search engines.

Ability to create a link which is pointing to an internal page, but when clicked, actually takes the user to external website is implemented with this release.

Example: Google is a link to an internal virtual page Click.aspx. But when the user clicks on this link, JMDCMS engine now interprets this virtual CLICK page, Parse the URL and redirects the user to external site as specified with the Link parameter.
